Fort Myers, Fla., August 1, 2022 — Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) welcomes four Board-certified medical oncologists to the statewide practice, expanding care for patients receiving treatment for cancer and blood disorders. Joining FCS on August 1, 2022 are Mohammad Jahanzeb, MD, FACP (Palm Beach County), Tony J. Kurian, MD (Sarasota County), Susan K. Morgan, MD (Collier County) and Wenqing Zhang, MD, PhD (Citrus County).

Dr. Mohammad Jahanzeb is providing care to patients at the FCS Lake Worth Cancer Center, 4801 S. Congress Ave., Suite 400, Lake Worth, FL 33461, and at FCS Delray Beach location at 5130 W. Linton Blvd., Suite B4 in Del Ray Beach, FL 33484.
Dr. Jahanzeb received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College at Punjab University in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan and completed residency training at New Britain General Hospital at the University of Connecticut in New Britain. He was named as senior fellow during his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Washington University’s Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Previously, Dr. Jahanzeb served as Chief of Medical Oncology Scientific and Strategic Advisor for GenesisCare. He was the Founder and former Managing Partner of Florida Precision Oncology Research and Consulting, LLC. He has held a number of academic appointments and currently serves as Clinical Affiliate Professor in the Department of Integrated Medicine at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. Tony Kurian is providing care to patients at the FCS Venice Island clinic, 901. S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34285, and at the FCS Englewood clinic, 714 Doctors Drive, Englewood, FL 34223.
Dr. Kurian received his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. While completing his Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Mayville, Illinois, he was named as Chief Resident and served as a clinical preceptor for first and second-year medical students. Dr. Kurian completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology with a specialty in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy at USF Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Susan Morgan is providing care to patients at the FCS Bonita Springs location, 9776 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 201A, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, and at FCS Naples Goodlette, 1100 Goodlette Road N., Naples, FL 34102.
After receiving her medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Morgan completed Internal Medicine residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
A former Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, she began her medical career as Chief of the Medical Specialty Clinic at Tripler Army Medical Center and later served as Assistant Chief of Hematology/Oncology Service at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
From 2002 to 2018, Dr. Morgan provided oncology care to patients at Florida Cancer Specialists in Naples and was actively involved in multiple clinical trials.
Dr. Wenqing Zhang is providing care to patients at FCS Crystal River, 770 SE 5th Terrace, Crystal River, FL 33429, FCS Inverness at 2231 Highway 44 W., Unit 203, Inverness, FL 34453 and at FCS Lecanto at 521 N. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto, FL 34461.
After receiving his medical degree from Xinxiang Medical College in China, Dr. Zhang went on to earn both a master’s and a doctorate in Medical Science from Beijing Medical University. He completed Internal Medicine residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Louisville James Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville, KY.
