Rimas Lukas, MD, director, Medical Neuro-Oncology, co-director, Neurology Medical Student Clerkship Program, The University of Chicago Medical Center, discusses the next steps following a phase I study looking at atezolizumab in glioblastoma. Lukas says he hopes some of the results from this study will result in the revelation of new biomarkers in the immune checkpoint inhibitor world, as well as uncovering biomarkers that would reveal patients' abilities to either respond or not respond to certain treatments.
